the balance between light an shadow is quite nice, the grain makes everything a bit more gloomy overall (good if that is the overall mood you wanted to communicate)
the rose+letter in the right panel alone would make the picture worty of praise
The left panel puzzles me a lot
probably higher formats + different cut would make it less puzzling, but probably that is part of its charme.
